Prompts You Can Use

Creating Personal Prompts for Your Journal
Whether you’re creating your own journal or purchasing one, consider adding extra prompts to make it uniquely yours. Remember, journaling is a powerful way to document your journey, track your progress, and celebrate your victories. It’s also an opportunity to reflect on areas for growth.
Keep in mind: there are no losses, only lessons and areas that can be refined for greater success.
If You get stuck thinking about prompts I would suggest you brainstorm by creating a vision board. Use any kind of board big enough to fill it up with sticky notes. A prompt is a question you ask yourself like, How do I feel this morning, Did I have any opportunities today that I acted on or didn’t act on? Did I plan my day well? Is there any improvement I can make for tomorrow?
Here are some prompts to get you started: Don’t be shy about adding extra prompts to your journal. Try starting out with about 10 daily prompts. As you go about your day and a thought comes up where a question can be formed write it down for later. You can add only the prompts pointing you in your chosen direction. These questions you ask yourself will help you improve at an accelerated rate.

10 Tips To Establish Priority Goals Or Desires For Yourself
Brainstorming a goal or desire involves exploring your desires, passions, and aspirations to identify what truly resonates with you. Here’s a structured approach to brainstorming your goals or desires:
1. Reflect on Your Values: Consider what is most important to you in life. Reflect on your values, principles, and beliefs. What brings you joy, fulfillment, and satisfaction?
2. Identify Areas of Improvement: Reflect on different aspects of your life, such as career, relationships, health, personal growth, and hobbies. Are there areas where you feel dissatisfied or where you see room for improvement?
3. Visualize Your Ideal Life: Close your eyes and imagine your ideal life in vivid detail. Where are you? What are you doing? Who are you with? How do you feel? Visualizing your ideal life can help uncover desires that may not be immediately obvious.
4. Set SMART Goals: Once you’ve identified potential desires or goals, refine them using the SMART criteria: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. This helps ensure that your goals are clear, actionable, and realistic.
5. Brainstorm Freely: Set aside dedicated time for brainstorming without judgment. Write down any ideas or desires that come to mind, no matter how big or small. Let your imagination flow freely without worrying about feasibility at this stage.
6. Prioritize Your Desires: Review your list of brainstormed goals and desires. Identify the ones that resonate most strongly with you and align closely with your values and aspirations. Prioritize them based on importance and feasibility.
7. Break Down Goals into Steps: For each prioritized desire or goal, break it down into smaller, actionable steps. This makes the goal feel more manageable and allows you to create a road map for achieving it.
8. Consider Potential Obstacles: Anticipate potential obstacles or challenges that may arise while pursuing your goals. Think about how you can overcome these obstacles and develop strategies to mitigate them.
9. Seek Feedback: Share your goals or desires with trusted friends, family members, or mentors. They may offer valuable insights, perspectives, or suggestions that you hadn’t considered.
10. Stay Flexible: Remain open to adjusting your goals or desires as circumstances change or as you gain new insights about yourself. Flexibility allows you to adapt and refine your aspirations over time.
By following these steps, you can effectively brainstorm and clarify your goals or desires, setting yourself on a path towards personal growth, fulfillment, and success.

BONUS TIP: When brainstorming goals a few examples come to mind. I like mind maps, word clouds, and vision boards, but there are others you may like. I have a few ideas and you can choose which one fits you best or choose one of your ideas.
Collage: Similar to a vision board, create a collage using images and words cut from magazines, books, or printed materials. Arrange them on a board or paper to visually depict your goals and intentions.
- Mind Movie: Create a “mind movie” by compiling images, videos, and music that represent your ideal life and goals. Use video editing software or online tools to create a montage that you can watch to visualize and manifest your aspirations.
- Timeline: Create a timeline or “life map” that visually depicts your goals and milestones over time. Use a whiteboard, poster board, or digital tool to map out your goals chronologically, showing how they relate to each other and evolve over time.
- Sketching or Drawing: Use sketching or drawing to visually represent your goals and ideas. You can doodle or sketch images that represent your aspirations, or create diagrams and visual representations of your goals and action plans.
- Color Coding: Use color coding to categorize and prioritize your goals. Assign different colors to different categories or types of goals, making it easier to visually organize and track your progress.
- Map Your Goals: Use mapping techniques, such as mind mapping or concept mapping, to visually organize and connect your goals and ideas. Start with a central theme or goal and branch out to explore related concepts and sub-goals.

Mind Map: Use techniques like mind mapping or concept mapping to visually organize and connect your goals and ideas. Start with a central goal and branch out to explore related concepts and sub-goals.

A Cloud Map: is a dynamic visual tool that organizes your thoughts, intentions, and progress by mapping out various aspects of your goals—such as actions, emotions, and desired outcomes—into connected clusters. This structure helps track your journey, illustrating the connections between daily habits, personal growth, and long-term achievements in a clear, accessible format.

Vision Board: A vision board is a physical or digital collage of images, words, and symbols that represent your goals. It serves as a visual reminder of your desired outcomes.
Best for: People who prefer tangible visuals and creative expression.
How to do it: Create a vision board using images, quotes, and symbols that represent your goals. Spend a few minutes each day looking at your board and imagining yourself living those goals.
